Tomasz Okruszko, professor at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS), will give a keynote address on closing the loop on nutrient losses at the Circular Economy Conference 2019, which is part of the Finnish presidency joint conference: European Days for Sustainable Circular Economy.
The presentation will address the following aspects:
- Linkages between nutrient management and the Circular Economy.
- Examples of synergies in innovative nutrient management practices and the Circular Economy, as well as their socio-economic benefits.
- Recommendations for strengthening synergies between nutrient management and faster and wider transition to the Circular Economy.
